The company e-advertising is setting a milestone in outdoor advertising: with the ePanel. As a further development of the well-known eBoard, the large-format ePanel with an 82-inch LCD screen is a real eye-catcher. Beginning in spring 2011, 43 ePanels will be installed at the six largest stations in Switzerland: Zurich, Berne, Basel, Lucerne, Lausanne and, at a later stage, in Geneva.
As of spring 2011, e-advertising will be offering a genuinely attractive product. As a further development of the well-known eBoard, the ePanel will guarantee advertising that is literally eye-catching. Together with Swiss Federal Railways SBB and Impacta AG – an investment company of Affichage Holding SA,
e-advertising will initially install 43 ePanels at the six largest railway stations in Switzerland: Zurich, Berne, Basel, Lucerne and Lausanne. The ePanel will be installed a little later at the station in Geneva, which is currently being modernized.
What distinguishes the ePanel from the well-known eBoard? Unlike the eBoard, the ePanel is constructed in a portrait format. The 82-inch LCD screens will present animated advertising in full HD quality. The content consists solely of advertising, and no news or weather forecasts will be shown. Brochures about the ePanel can be ordered now from e-advertising in Winterthur. Interested parties can view the ePanel in the specially set-up showroom, upon request.
About the company
e-advertising was established in 2000 as a profit centre of Allgemeine Plakatgesellschaft. Since the introduction of digital large-screen communication – the eBoard in Zurich central station – the company has positioned and established itself on the market. Using outsized LED and LCD displays, e-advertising provides "animated" advertising faces at Switzerland's principal stations that are entertaining and live long in the memory.
